Understanding your starting point
We discuss your weight history, eating patterns, sleep, activity, stress, digestion and current health concerns. Bring details of medication, supplements and any recent test results so that your care can be planned around you.
A personalised TCM approach
Your physician considers your symptoms and constitution through a TCM assessment. Treatment options may include weight-management acupuncture and, where appropriate, herbal medicine. Each recommendation is explained before you decide how to proceed.
Practical habits and regular review
Your plan includes discussion of everyday routines and achievable goals. Balanced meals, regular movement and sufficient sleep remain important parts of weight management. Follow-up visits provide an opportunity to review your experience and adjust the plan.

Common questions
Do I need to choose a treatment before booking?
No. Start with a consultation. Your physician will discuss suitable options after reviewing your health history, concerns and preferences.
How many sessions will I need?
The frequency and duration are discussed after your assessment and reviewed as you go. There is no fixed course for everyone.
Is herbal medicine included?
Herbal medicine is not automatically included. If it is recommended, your physician will explain the prescription, precautions and separate cost.
What should I tell my physician?
Please disclose pregnancy or breastfeeding, existing conditions, medicines and supplements, and any history of difficulties with eating. Sudden or unexplained weight changes should be assessed. Do not change prescribed medication without advice from your prescriber.
